Dr. Jill Sheldon - Managing Veterinarian

Dr. Sheldon, whose special interests include internal medicine, client education, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, exotics, and abdominal ultrasound, has been a part of our team since 2012. She earned her degree from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 and practiced at a small animal clinic in Warren, MI for 7 years before joining the Advanced PetCare of Oakland team. She is an active member of MVMA, AVMA, and SEMVMA. Dr. Sheldon lives with her husband Jason, three children, two dogs, and cat. When she isn’t working, she may be found spending time with her family, reading, and watching movies.

Dr. Katherine Waters

Dr. Waters joined our team as an associate veterinarian in July 2014. She earned her degree in 2004 from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her veterinary interests are in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. As a member of AVMA, MVMA, SEMVMA, and VIN, Dr. Waters is continually pursuing ongoing education by attending local and regional conferences each year. She chose her career path because of a lifelong interest in science, medicine, and her family pets, and she enjoys working with a team of talented and caring individuals who are passionate about practicing quality medicine. Even more so, she loves getting to know people and their pets, and helping to promote the importance of the family animals. Dr. Waters makes her home with her husband Michael, her son Ethan, and their 10-year-old Siberian Husky Trey. When she isn’t working, Dr. Waters enjoys traveling, photography, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Annette Arment

Dr. Arment joined the Advanced PetCare of Oakland family in the summer of 2016, but has been a practicing veterinarian for over 25 years. She is a lifelong Michigan resident. She, her husband, son and oldest daughter are all Michigan State Alumni. Her youngest daughter is currently attending MSU to continue the family legacy. Dr. Arment has practiced small animal medicine in Port Huron, Clinton Township, Shelby Township and Rochester Hills. She is a member of AVMA, MVMA and SEMVMA. She believe strongly in keeping her skills sharp with continuing education classes and lectures. Dr. Arment enjoys spending time with her family, MSU sporting events, gardening, walking with the family dog (Daisy), yoga, traveling, and volunteering at St. Kieran Catholic Church and Leader Dogs for the Blind.

Dr. Audrey Karagosian

Dr. Audrey Karagosian received her Bachelor of Science degree at Michigan State University (Go Green!) in 2010 and then went on to veterinary school at the world-wide accredited University of Glasgow. She is married and has two rescue dogs, Walter and Winston. In Dr. Karagosian's spare time, she enjoys traveling, snowboarding, biking, spending time with her dogs and annoying her husband. She has experience in veterinary care in the USA, Morocco, Wales, England and Scotland. Her veterinary interests include surgery and internal medicine. She also is involved in several local rescue groups in Metro-Detroit.

Dr. Angela Kvasnica

Dr. Kvasnica graduated in 1999 from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and worked in both the consulting and auto industries before attending veterinary school.  She then earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 from Michigan State University and has been a small animal practitioner locally for the past 12 years. Dr. Kvasnica’s professional interests include internal medicine, dentistry, and small mammal medicine.  What she enjoys most about her job is the opportunity for continuous learning which allows her to provide the most up-to-date care for her patients. She is an active member of the AVMA, MVMA and SEMVMA. In her free time Dr. Kvasnica enjoys golf, cooking and travel.  She shares her home with her husband Jason and two cats, Gideon and Bryn.
